is there a checklist available for folks who have been ripped off already?

Elite restoration services replaced roof and gutters on home. Damage and poor work have caused repair costs that have exceeded original cost. Elite refused to repair damage before bad weather came. Elite did not answer calls or return them. When I complained to BBB ,I discovered Elite had closed doors and lost license the month before they mis-represented themselves to my insurance co ,and claimed work complete when it was not, billing for work that was not even done. After complaint of multiple felonies, Elite came to my home and threatened family. Police report made. Owner, Stan Wilson, put lein on home.

Actually, we don't currently have a checklist for those who have been ripped off. But you make a great suggestion for us to write up a story for those in your situation.

As far as your recourse, you should file a complaint with theIndiana Attorney General’s office.

THIS QUESTION WAS ASKED BACK IN MARCH OF 2013. IT'S ALMOST A YEAR AND A HALF LATER AND THERE IS STILL NO LIST, LIKE THAT ASKED, TO BE FOUND HERE.


ANGIE SHOULD MAKE THIS PRIORITY ONE AND MAKE A HEADING WHERE PEOPLE CAN LIST COMPANIES/PEOPLE WHO THEY'VE BEEN RIPPED OFF BY SO NO ONE HAS TO GO THROUGH THE SAME THING.


I FIND IT APPALLING THAT IT'S ALREADY BEEN A YEAR AND A HALF LATER AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO MAKE SUCH A LIST. THAT'S CERTAINLY NOT THE WAY TO HELP ANGIE'S PAYING CUSTOMERS.


PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE THAT LIST/HEADING AVAILABLE BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO, ANGIE'S LIST, IS MAKE A HEADING THAT WE CAN CLICK ON TO ADD THE COMPANY/PERSON WHO RIPPED US OFF AND COMMENTS ABOUT THE CIRCUMSTANCES. IT'S NOT HARD TO DO.

It sounds like what you are asking for is exactly why the List exists. You can already submit a review about a negative experience with a service provider to warn others about your bad experience.
