Question DetailsAsked on 7/27/2014

is there a rescue place that will take a dog?

we adopted a female mixed breed dog as company to our Shih Tzu, we have given it 5 months & it is not working out, she is always picking on our Bailey, I think she needs to be in an only pet home..We are looking for someone to adopt Clohey, she is approx. 3yrs. & is spayed & in perfect health.

If you got this from an adoption / animal shelter agency or organization, all the reputable ones will take back an adoption that does not work out.

I don't find an AL category for animal adoption, but google your town name combined with "animal rescue" and you should pop a list. Your local pound/animal control also probably has a list of animal rescue societies in your area, even if they do not take unsuccessful adoptions themselves. Also check for local ASPCA chapters.
