leaking under deck along almuimn siding

appears water from roof is coming down thru the deck and possible behind siding creating dampness on wall board inside of house

If you mean a rooftop deck, then this is a Roofer issue. Ditto if you mean a flat roof and leakage is into walls at edge of roof.


If you mean water coming off roof (presumably no gutters) is hitting deck then getting into siding, sounds like possibly a case of a leak where the deck contacts the house - meaning probably inadequate flashing/water barrier at the ledger board where the deck connects to the house (a deck construction issue), though possibly a problem with flashing where the siding meets the deck if splash or standing water on the deck is getting in under the flashing there - which could be a deck construction issue, or a siding installation issue.
