leaking window frame repair

Here are links to a number of previous similar questions with responses - some may or may not quite match your situation, but just move on to the next one if you hit a case that does not sound quite similar to yours - usually (assuming not a roof leak coming down through the wall and exiting at the window, which is fairly rare) such a leak is caused by incorrect or weathered flashing/caulking around the top of the window frame, deteriorated/damaged weatherstripping in the window unit itself, or house settlement causing the window to be out of square so the window moving parts do not line up right, leaving gaps for wind-driven rain to come through.
