I am looking for a work from home job...data entry or something to make extra money. The thing is I am having trouble finding legitimate companies. Can you help?

Odds are very highly against you - unless you already have specific saleable skills AND a client list or can talk an employer to letting you work from home or change fromfulltime to part-time or contract work, a vast majority of the work at home schemes are just that schemes and scams. Exception of course being for skills you have and can market - home crafts, babysitting, catering, hoem inspection, and the like - but those are not "work at home jobs" - they are jobs you happen to do from your house.

There are many companies who support the work at home workforce. It depends on what you want to do . Asurion, Arise (you pay for your own training here) Convergys, Sitel, Teletech, and Uhaul to name a few. Look up their websites and click on careers

I would recommend doing a web search on any company you consider, using search phrases like these (randomly using Sitel's name just as an example)-

Sitel complaints

Sitel scam

Sitel employee complaints

Note also that with most of these companies you are probablyu considered an "independent contractor", so are fully responsible for all your state and federal employee and company tax reporting and withholding and such, and of course probably do not get health benefits of any sort.

Actually, I work for Convergys, have had full time work (40) hrs p/wk since first day of training, I get paid bi-weekly and have very good benefits. And I am an employee not a contractor.
