Since no one answered you for several days, I did a bit of regional wage and cost data research at several sites for you - all said about the same ranges -

1) local teenager or unlicensed "mow and blow" service - $10-15/hour, typically meaning $30-60/mo for normal house

2) lawn care service mow and blow - $15-20/hour, typically $45-80/mo

3) minor lawn mowing, and shrub/flowers care (gardening) - $20-35/hour typically

4) licensed, certified plant care specialist (usually used for one-time visits, not routine care except for larger mansions with large highly landscaped grounds) - $35-50/hour

Your best bet - find a neighbor who gets service like you need and is happy with their service - that gives you a cost range, a recommendation for a provider to try out (and try out on per-visit basis until sure you are happy), and might be cheaper because he is coming to your area anyway to do the neighbor's yard so can combine trips on same day
