my neighbor poured something on my flowers and they turned white and died. wh a t could it be

I have 3 weird boys next door and the one is always putting stuff on my flowers and ruining them. What would cause my purple flowers to turn white and die.

If these kids are young you might talk to the parents. If they are older my thought would be to take photos of your beautiful flowers. I would take a number of photos with my cell phone. Then when the vandal comes be sure to take pictures of the person's face and catch them in the act of damaging your flowers. Take photos several times so you show a pattern of intentional damage. Later take photos of the damaged flowers. You might try to wash the white powder off of the plant. I would not touch the powder. Try to include photo dates if your camera will do that. I would then take the pictures to the police station and let them take care of the situation. This is vandalism and it is a crime. If they see you taking a photo of them, that may be enough to stop it from happening.
