Check for obstruction underneath (rock, piece of wood, high-centered, mower deck hung up on high point or change of slope, etc) - also for a flat tire or wheels turned in a tight turn, which it might handle when moving but not starting out, because web info indicates this model has a gutless transmission, in many people's opinion.

Otherwise, if won't go on flat surface or downhill, check the hydraulic fluid level. Then check for broken drive or idler belt.

Otherwise, if hydraulic oil filter has not been changed per maintenance schedule, possible that is plugged up - but that would be a progressive loss of power, not sudden.

Otherwise, Mower and Power Tool Repair is your Search the List category for a repair shop - most will come and get your rider mower and take to repair (or sometimes repair in the field if simple) and then return it when fixed - commonly about $50 to maybe $100 fee for the pickup and return, sometimes free if the repair exceeds around $250-400 at some shops.

Also - google for recall and class action suit info on this model - evidently there is a class action suit in the works for that model for transmission problems, which might relate to your case.
