Not a whole lot of difference country-wide on this, except in big cities. Flooring itself costs from $1-5/SF depending on how fancy you go - and up to $10/SF for real hardwood. Labor usually runs from a low of about $3/SF if all they have to do is lay it over a vinyl or concrete floor, or pull up some wall to wall carpet and lay down the isolation layer and the laminate, with no floor surface prep. With moderate prep (like some subfloor replacement or having to put down an underlayment of particle board, or taking up vinyl or an existing hardwood/laminate floor first), probably $5-7/SF. These numbers for a fair sized job, of course - say at least 150 SF. More per SF on a smaller job.
