Question DetailsAsked on 3/6/2016

replace a bad lennox heater blower motor in a still case

This is a old fire place with still doors that you can close, underneath it has a still case with the blower motor inside the case, the motor is very loud and makes lots of noise, I want to replace it but I believe it will need to be welded after the blower is replaced

Highly unlikely - usually the face plate on the blower cabinet is screwed together with sheet metal screws from the inside where you can't see them - or sometimes just a snap-in or press-fit cover plate. After all, they are made so the motor can be taken out for repair/replacement as well as during initial assembly - they would not weld it in.

Heating and A/C or Fireplaces (wood stove and insert fireplace companies) would be the two Search the List categories to find a vendor to fix this.
