Depending on headroom and other accessibility (which obviously gets MUCH tougher with multi-story house), can start around $20/LF for easy going to $40/LF or more in hidden walls or under slabs - so you really need several firm bids for this job. I have even seen this done (and had it done on a few larger jobs) for closer to $10/LF by routing and flushing out, flushing with disinfectant, and then capping and abandoning the old lines in place and running new plastic parallel to that - can be MUCH easier to do in tight crawlspaces or where there are easier ways to run under-slab or to-the-street runs.

What you replace with depends on your code area, but I have seen some nasty problems with PVC sewer pipe - I recommend ABS for the in-house replacement.
