Below are a number of previous similar questions about that with answers - most of them have links to other similar questions. There will be a lot of duplicates amongst those, so keep track of the questionID numbers in the URL of the ones you have already read as you go through them.

Note typically a few $ to $5 range/gallon to remove and dispose of old oil in the tank if contaminated or dirty/watery, and of course extra cost if the old tank has a lot of fuel in it and needs to be removed to put the new one in place. For tank swap-outs like this, is it generlaly preferable if the tank still has a significant amount (more than 5-10 gallons) of fuel, to install the new tank nearby first, then pump the old fuel to the new tank, then remove the old tank. Saves having to handle the old fuel during the tank swapout, or paying to dispose of it.
