s it customary to tip the contractor for a kitchen remodel?

How much / percentage? What about the guys who are employed by him and do the actual work? Tip seperately? I'm VERY happy with contractor, etc. Local business / person in suburbs west of Chicago. Though I didn't find Ron via Angie's List, he is on it. Nothing but great reviews. They are for real. I got references and talked to other customers and saw the work he did. Ron had a Christmas open house in his showroom last Saturday. Happy customers there. It's about a $15,000+ job. (Everything except the wallpaper. I still love the wallpaper I had put up app. 13 years ago.)

Holiday tipping can be a little tricky, especially when you consider how much to tip a service provider that you don't see that often. However, we encourage our members to reward good performance around this time of year - after all, giving is the reason for the season. You can check out the Angie's List guide to holiday tipping by clicking here.
