Your refrigerant is most likely not cooling properly - almost always because your cooling fan (in back of reefer), the air inlet vents on back cover, and/or the condensor coils (on back or underneath) are dust covered so the heat it removes from the reefer/freezer cannot be dissipated into the room. Should be cleaned typically every 1-2 years - more often in heavy shedding carpet/pet homes or if compressor starts running frequently or for long periods.

Sometimes loss of refrigerant from the system can do this too - but that is pretty rare with reefers (as opposed to with A/C systems).

Clean (with unit unplugged) the fan, vents, coils and general underarea and see if that solves the issue. If not, or you want proper cleaning demonstrated to you or you are physically unable to do that, Appliance Repair - Large would be your Search the List category for a repair tech.
