seeking appliance repair person to determine why oven won't turn itself off. My guess is that the computer brain is defective.

Could also be a defective thermostat, failing to tell the controller that the oven is up to desired temp - hope so, because a lot cheaper than a brain transplant (main circuit board replacement).
