Question DetailsAsked on 10/6/2014

should .032 aluminum gutters be easily dented? (the old gutters were not that way)

my old gutters (20 yrs.) were durable, but the new .032 aluminum is rather "cheap" material in comparison

Yes they can be dented easily. Your old ones were probably 24 or 26 gauge galvanized sheet metal and I don't know of anyone in this part of the world (Dallas/Fort Worth) that installs or fabricates them out of anything except aluminum anymore, unless it's a copper custom job and you are talking about big, big money for copper. Your homeowners ins will cover them in the event they are hail or wind damaged and replace the damaged portions.
