should I paint the house then replace windows or replace the windows and then paint the house ?

Need to replace windows around the house, but also need to paint the exterior house. Which one should be done first ?

Replace the windows first. I install replacement windows and it is always a hassle when people paint houses before. You always run a risk of damaging the exterior or finding rotten wood that needs to be replaced while replacing windows. It would be doing work over again for no reason

I agree and furthermore latex paint should have ONE month to dry before freezing temperatures,, Time is pretty much gone for most of the country,,
