A very common problem with AL - your options other than repeatedly contacting them about this, sort of in order from less aggressive to full flame-them mode:
0) send them eMail demanding removal of your info from their system
1) send them certified mail letter demanding removal of your info from their system
2) contact credit card company and tell them it is an unauthorized charge on a closed account. Some can also block that vendor permanently from charging your card.
3) call credit card fraud unit and tell them it is a fraudulent charge
4) contact the Fair Trade Commssion (www.ftc.gov) and file a trade practices complaint
5) file a police complaint against them (actually likely with FBI since most likely interstate trade) for credit card theft for using your card without permission
As for the BBB - in my opinion, as they say in Joisey - fugget about it - their ratings and complaint records are pretty meaningless, as evidenced by companies with many hundreds of complaints still being members and having A ratings, and the fact they sell rating improvement to members for payments (had them offer that to me for my company when they tried to get me to become a member).
Now they have been bought out again, maybe this situation will improve - but I would not hold my breath.
