timberline shingles long lasting

I think you are asking about the quality of Timberline shingles.

As for the quality of the shingles I would not worry a bit, they are a good shingle and if installed properly will hold up well. Most problems with re roofing is in the choice of the installer and not the product if it is a name brand. With proper preparation of roof being replaced and use of ice shield and felt paper they should last through most of what nature can throw at them. Things that can degrade even the best product such as excessive heat on unventilated roofs and trees to close to the roof shading it to the point moss starts growing will shorten the life of a roof.

That brand happens to be the one I installed on my own roof 14 years ago and they still look fine and have stood up to a few blizzards and hurricanes.
