This is most likely from an inadequately insulated duct which is causing condensation from the warm, humid bathroom air to condense and drip back down. The attic opening should also be air sealed so that warm moist air does not go into a cold attic and condense on shingle nails, or sheathing in cold temperatures. This condensation can create a rain effect in attics.
