we need to install a railing on our front entrances. what should I search under?

railing for front and back doors. Installer will need to drill into old concrete stairs. we prefer iron railings

You should be able to find someone local if you go to Home then metal fabrication or possibly fencing

Good comment by Don - in addition to metal fabrication and fencing, other firm types that do this include Ironwork firms (for iron railings), landscaping and deck construction companies, and masons (for installation of railings in brick and concrete). Many handymen can also do this, you just have to be sure they stay far enough back from the edge of the concrete and use grouted-in bolts rather than expansion anchors if within 6 inches of the edge of the concrete so they do not crack it. Pros I would trust within 4 inches of the edge with expansion anchors.
