1 Answer

A heat pump extracts heat energy from a local source such as the ambient air or the ground to provide heating or it uses the surrounding local source as a heat sink for cooling. The advantage is that it is more economical to operate than a conventional heating or cooling air conditiopner. It uses less electrical energy to operate.
