what is the best way to remove ear wax

You have two question threads on this subject - there is a response at the other one, here -

If the wax is not impacted, there are cheap ear wax removal solutions at your drug store that work well. I don't remember what is in them - hydroxen or carbamide peroxide if I remember correctly - actually bubbles in the ear as it works, so it breaks up minor blockages well. Use per instructions, because improper or too frequent use can cause ear irritation and damage. Visine and Debrox are two brands my doctor recommended for excessive ear wax due to an allergic irritation.
