Depending on parts of the country, from $150 to $1500 to empty a typical 800-1200 gallon tank - cheapest in low-wage rural areas, highest in areas where it is a long run to get to your house, like with backwoods cabins, some small resort areas, etc.

Normal cost for most homes within 10-20 miles of the service and with local dumping spot, about $200-300, though some communities charge $200-300 per truckload as a dump fee, so in those areas $600-700 is a common charge.

Remove and replace tank only typically about $1500-2000, total tank replacement with new leach field about $4-6,000 if in-ground is suitable, up to $10-15,000 if high water table or distance to neighbor's wells or open waterway mandates an above-ground system.
