where can we get dirt to fill in hole made by above ground pool. 16x32.

we took down our pool and it is about 16x32 that was dug down to be 6' deep in the center. We have a deck which we are going to take down but problem is we need help deciding how to get the dirt in the backyard and don't know who to call or have come out and see the huge whole and what to do

Generally, for cheapest fill you want dumptruck access to the hole - otherwise a bobcat or utility tractor (with associated lawn damage, and requires about a 6 foot+ minimum wide gate opening or temporarily take out part of the fence), or highest cost if wheelbarrowing is required. Might run anywhere from about $10/CY for simple truck and dump to more like $15-20 range for compacted fill (to avoid swampy conditions), on up to as much as around $30-40/CY if tight quarters and requires wheelbarrowing from a pile dumped in the front. Note that preventing it from becoming a bog, or a source area for water accumulation that can drain to a nearby basement, is very important.
