There are probiotics that are aimed at those type of over growth conditions specifically.

Having known someone that dealt with that, I would take a hard look at your diet as well.

Good luck as I know this is a stubborn and difficult condition.

Live Probiotic foods work better than any pill can; the doses are many times higher and the good bacteria replenish themselves from live fermented foods. The pills are useful when the foods aren't available, like traveling, etc. Excellent probiotic foods are Organic Kefir Plain (it's like watered down drinkable yogurt), Organic plain yogurt. Check to assure that each has many strains of live bacteria, keep refrigerated and consume before expiration date. Best to eat with food. The reason Plain flavor is desired is because the flavored ones have a huge amount of sugar that feeds Candida. If absolutely necessary, you can add your own bit of fruit to the yogurt to make it more palatable -- no sugar.

Other foods to consider to supplement the above are Braggs raw organic Apple Cider Vinegar, unpasterized (refrigerated) Kimchi (fermented cabbage with paprika etc.), unpasterized refrigerated sauerkraut. The heat, pasteurization, that makes similar products that are canned like sauerkraut also kills off the beneficial probiotic bacteria that are so needed.

Oregano oil capsules daily as well as regularly eating raw garlic in decent doses also helps keep candida down.

Most grains should be avoided in the short term as you begin this for best results, especially wheat, rice, barley, corn, potatoes. Wheat, corn, barley and white rice should probably stay out of diet and others minimized.

Any sugar which includes starches which turn quickly into sugar needs to be strictly limited, including beans, usually thought of as a pretty good starch.

Whole teff, quinoa, nut flours are better choices to incorporate into diet. Best Wishes.
