Guess my first reply did not take - entered last night but not there now - here are places that typically do shredding. Be sure, when you call to check, to specify if you want cross-cut (confetti) or if strip shredding (which is much less secure as strips can be reconstructed easily) is OK.

1) Portable Document Shredding companies who drive to your house or office with a shredder in a truck

2) most package stores like FedEx, Brown Store, The Packaging Store, etc - most will arrange an appointment if you want so you can actually see it shredded

3) most large box office stores like Office Max, in the copy center. Some will also pick up for shredding.

4) most records storage and archive companies, who have high-capacity shredding machines typically for routine expiration date shredding of stored boxed archived records - some can handle up to about 50 sheets at a time, and staples and paper clips

5) buy a $75-100 shredder yourself - get a brand name, that price range can handle from 8-20 pages including staples, but NOT paper clips or file folders with clasp binders in them. If you have many boxes this is too big a job for this size machine, but for a bankers box a month or so worth is viable
