If this is lengths of trees in decent condition, some Firewood vendors (your Search the List category) will come and pick up and haul wood away. If intact (standing or felled) trees some firewood vendors will come and cut it up and haul away, though there is liability risk to you if you are not contracted with a licensed and insured contractor for that. Tree Services of course do that sort of removal too - lots of previous questions with responses about costs and potential for free removal in the Lawn and Garden > Tree Service link in Browse Projects, at lower left.

If you mean scrap lumber - not tree wood - like from a shed or deck you took kdown, taking into mind (especially if it has nails in it) your liability risk, if in decent condition you could Craigslist it for free. Otherwise, Hauling (Junk Haulers) would probably be your best bet - though they may or may not be prepared to cut to hauling length.

If in-place - not torn down, some Haulers will do that - as will some Handymen.

You could also ask around, if in decent used condition, if any of your neighbors want it for deck or planter construction.
